Join us for our 83rd Chester County Day

Please Note: All Online VIP Tickets Are Sold Out. You May Still Purchase VIP Tickets at Five Satellite Locations.

The 83rd Annual Chester County Day will be held on Saturday, October 5, from 10am to 5pm. As the longest-running historic home tour in the country, Chester County Day has much to offer by way of history, architecture, landscape, and interior design.

Each ticket comes with a Chester County Day map and Tour Booklet that allows you to explore the beautiful architecture and bucolic roads of the county.

A project of the Women’s Auxiliary to Chester County Hospital, “The Day,” as it is affectionately called, has raised more than five million dollars for the hospital.

Tour Stops

The 2024 tour will feature some of Chester County’s most beautiful homes and restored barns in the Southeast quadrant. Tour goers will be able to visit stops along the route that includes parts of Willistown, East Goshen, and East Bradford Townships, as well as a walking tour in the Borough of West Chester as it celebrates its 225th anniversary. Rest stops, picnicking opportunities and boxed lunch pick up locations are available along the tour route.

Two magnificent barns in Willistown Township are some of the many highlights of this year’s tour. The barn at Bryn Clovis near Sugartown was once dedicated to dairy production. It has housed the legendary Ardrossan beagles and is known to host the Budweiser Clydesdales as well. The barn at Goshen Hill has been re-imagined as a fabulous party barn.

VIP House

Another highlight for 2024 is the return of the “VIP House” to The Day. Guests with a VIP ticket will have the opportunity to visit this one-of-a-kind “Southdown” estate in East Bradford. The estate dates to the early 1700s and occupies a scenic location adjacent to the Stroud Preserve.

The walking tour in the Borough of West Chester will provide tourgoers the opportunity to visit eight exquisite homes in the north area of town.

Fox Hunt

The Radnor Hunt Club will host this year’s early morning fox hunt. Be parked by 8:30am to enjoy coffee and baked goods provided by the Women’s Auxiliary while enjoying the pageantry of the horses, hounds and riders.  Order online our exclusive boxed lunches from Arianna’s Gourmet Café for early morning pickup at the Hunt from 8:30 to 10:30 am. Private homes and public landmarks open at 10:00am.

 Refreshments

Boxed lunches from Arianna’s Gourmet Café must be pre-ordered before Chester County Day and can be picked up at the early morning fox hunt from 8:30 to 10 am or at our lunch stops on the tour route from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.
